Highly recommended for anyone who remembers ‘70s era educational programming. It is the driest satire...
in the world.

This brings me back.
70's educational programming was all the rage in the 80's.

Yep. My favorite part of the intro to Look Around You (not visible here) is a guy typing an infinite loop program into BASIC to print “Look around you”. Like... all the SCIENCEY TEXT stuff that they were doing for intros that seemed so cool to them at that time, so necessary to say “THIS SHIT IS MODERN”, but done in such a way that it makes a programmer cringe.

I FREAKING LOVE THIS SHOW. What sucks is when you live in a place where noone gets dry humor. Especially when you can pull it off with a straight face.

Where did you find this on DVD? I’ve been looking everywhere BUT online. Can’t find Mighty Boosh either or Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace.

A seller on Amazon had it. I actually tried to order it a year ago and happened to order JUST as it went out of print for a while, and after lingering delays my order was canceled. I tried again this year, and there are new copies available non-gouged, so I assume it’s back in print. For some insane reason, the second series is not available in Region 1, but it *is* available in other region formats and people buy it.

Thanks, fellow person with a slightly off sense of humor. I’ll look for it now.
